Applications for Post Basic Nursing Programmes – 2024/2025 Admission
Programmes Available:
- Post Basic Nephrology Nursing
- Post Basic Oncology Nursing
Duration:
- Will be lasting for a total of 12 months, from November, 2024 to November, 2025.
Requirements:To be eligible, candidates must:
- Be a registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- Have their current practicing license issued by the Nursing and Midwifery council of Nigeria.
- Have passed O’ level, GCE, WAEC, NECO, in at least five subjects passed at credit level (no more than 2 sittings) to include English language, Mathematics, physics, Chemistry anc Biology or NABTEB (only one sitting).
Method of Application:Interested candidates should follow these steps:
- Collect application forms from the School of Post Basic Nursing, National Hospital Abuja for a non refundable sum of:
- Twenty Thousand Naira (N20, 000.00) only at Account I, National Hospital Abuja.
- Two Hundred Naira (N200: 00) should be paid into:

- The forms will go on sale from 15th April, 2024, and submission of the completed application forms will close on 31 July, 2024. Forms should be returned to the School of Post Basic Nursing, National Hospital Abuja.
Entrance Examination:
- The examination is scheduled for 5th August, 2024. Eligible candidates will found out through their mobile phone numbers.
